Fri thru Sun, June 7th thru 9th – SIG Fly-In – Montezuma IA

Saturday, June 15th – SSC Combat at the flying field at 12:30 PM

Tuesday, June 25th – Club Meeting at the flying field at 7 PM

Sat & Sun, July 20th and 21st – Float Fly at Prairie Lakes

Tuesday, July 23rd – Club Meeting at the flying field at 7 PM

Thursday, August 1st – Flying Demonstration at the Bremer County Fair – 5PM to 7PM

Saturday, August 3rd – Tri-Hawk Invitational – Iowa City AeroHawks

Tuesday, August 27th – Club Meeting at the flying field at 7 PM

Saturday, September 14th – Warbird Fly-In and Swap Meet

Tuesday, September 24th – Club Meeting at the flying field at 7 PM

The flying field is "open" for flying as long as the access road is passable.

See the weather report below for road access information.

 

Visitors are welcome at any club meeting or event.

The access road to the flying field may be closed if Beaver Creek is above the 10' flood stage.
Stage Area Affected
18' Water is on to the runway at the flying field.
14' The entire town is flooded except for some northern and the near western sections.
13' At this stage, flooding is occurring over half of the town.
12' Flooding occurs in most areas east of Broadway street. Far eastern and far western portions of town are affected.
11' In SE part of town is flooded. There is extensive agricultural flooding south of town including the access road to the Club Flying Field.

The purpose of the Club is to promote building and flying of all types of radio controlled model aircraft, and to support the program of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) for the advancement of all phases of model aviation.

 

All activities of the Black Hawk Radio Control Pilots conform with the Rules of the Academy of Model Aeronautics including Regulations governing model aircraft contests.
