The Black Hawk R/C Pilots welcomes new members.  Club members must also be members of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA).  Note: AMA Park Pilot members may only fly electric aircraft and limited participation in events as described in the AMA Park Pilot Rules.

Prospective members are welcome at any Club meeting, Wednesday morning breakfast or any event listed on the Event Schedule.  Call any of the Club Officers or email "bhrcp @ cfu.net" (no spaces in email address) for information on times that the Club flying field will be open.  The gate to the field is locked when Club members are not present.

If you have never flown an R/C aircraft before, contact one of the Club Officers to find out about beginner flight training.

If you do not have an R/C aircraft, please contact one of the Club Officers for suggestions on beginner aircraft.  There are limited retail outlets for R/C aircraft and equipment in the Waterloo / Cedar Falls area.  (See the Hobby Shop link on the left.)  If possible, contact a club member before you buy any equipment or aircraft!
