Club Flying Field

"NHI" – New Hartford International

The club flying field is "OPEN" from May until November.

Winter flying is possible if the access road is passable.

We do not plow the access road in the winter!

High water can occasionally close the access road to the flying field. Check the water level on Beaver Creek on the Home Page for more information.

Summer 2010 – There is a road closure on Highway 57 between Cedar Falls and the flying field. Click Here for detour routes.

Directions to the Flying Field

From the East or South:

7 Miles west of Cedar Falls on highway 57 then 1.3 Miles north on T55 (V Avenue). The entrance is the last turn-off to the Left before the RR tracks. Look for Black Hawk R/C Pilots sign!

From the West or North:

Drive into New Hartford to Main Street and go East to T55 (Vail Avenue) at the East end of town. Turn Right onto T55 (Vail Avenue). Cross the RR tracks and the entrance is the first turn-off to the Right.
