The flying field is “OPEN” year-round.  However, the access road may be impassible at times.  Do not drive on the access road if the surface is "soft" or soggy.  Check the report on the water level on Beaver Creek at New Hartford at the bottom of this page.

 

Don't forget to renew your AMA membership.

Club dues are due in January.

Parts of the access road to the flying field may be flooded from uphill runoff after a heavy rainfall.

Stage Area Affected
20' Water is on  the runway at the flying field.
15.7' Record high flood level  in 2008.
15' Major flooding in town.  Many local roads are flooded.  Access road to the flying field is almost flooded. -  Flood level in 2013.
14' The town levees are threatened.
13' Minor flooding with water over parts of Main Street. - Flood level in 1991 and 1993..
12' FLOOD STAGE
11' There is agricultural flooding outside of town.
9' ACTION STAGE - Flooding may be imminent.  It's possible for Beaver Creek to rise one foot per hour.
